Patrick Lussier is in talk to write and direct the recently announced Halloween 3D with plans to have it ready for a summer 2010 release. Ehren Kruger is going to adapt Stephen King’s short story Children of the Corn into a new movie. The story of a boy preacher who persuades the kids of a Nebraska town to kill all the adults was previously turned into a movie in 1984, and that went on to spawn six sequels.
