Food Inc. LiMiTED DVDSCR XviD-ARROW

It’s late in the year and time for some DVDSCRs. Here we have an interest documentary released today. Food, Inc. is a 2008 American documentary film directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Robert Kenner. The film examines large-scale agricultural food production in the United States, concluding that the meat and vegetables produced by this type of economic enterprise leads to inexpensive but unhealthy and environmentally harmful food. There are some minor blurs on the video, and occasionally black and white screens. Check out the screen shot below! Plot: The film’s first segment examines the industrial production of meat (chicken, beef & pork), calling it inhumane and economically and environmentally unsustainable. The second segment looks at the industrial production of grains and vegetables (primarily corn and soy beans), labeling this economically and environmentally unsustainable. The film’s third and final segment is about the economic and legal power of the major food companies, whose livelihoods are based on supplying cheap but contaminated food, the heavy use of petroleum-based chemicals (largely pesticides and fertilizers), and the promotion of unhealthy food consumption habits by the American public.

Secrecy 2008 DVDRiP XViD-MisFitZ

Scene group MisFitZ have released a documentary called “Secrecy”. This film is about the vast, invisible world of government secrecy. By focusing on classified secrets, the government’s ability to put information out of sight if it would harm national security, Secrecy explores the tensions between our safety as a nation, and our ability to function as a democracy. SECRECY is a film about the vast, invisible world of government secrecy. By focusing on classified secrets, the government’s ability to put information out of sight if it would harm national security, Secrecy explores the tensions between our safety as a nation, and our ability to function as a democracy. From extraordinary rendition to warrant-less wiretaps and Abu Ghraib, we have learned that, under the veil of classification, even our leaders can give in to dangerous impulses. Secrecy increasingly hides national policy, impedes coordination among agencies, bloats budgets and obscures foreign accords; secrecy throws into the dark our system of justice and derails the balance of power between the executive branch and the rest of government.

Anvil The Story Of Anvil 2008 DVDRip XviD-VoMiT

VoMiT have releases a well awaited interesting documentary film about the Canadian heavy metal band, Anvil. I heard nothing but good about this documentary and the ratings are on the top. The film is directed by screenwriter Sacha Gervasi, whose previous credits include The Big Tease (co-written with Craig Ferguson) and The Terminal. The movie features interviews with other musicians who have been influenced by the band, including Slash (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver), Lemmy (Hawkwind, Motörhead), and Lars Ulrich (Metallica). Enjoy! At 14, best friends Robb Reiner and Lips made a pact to rock together forever. Their band, Anvil, hailed as the “demi-gods of Canadian metal, ” influenced a musical generation that includes Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax, despite never hitting the big time. Following a calamitous European tour, Lips and Robb, now in their fifties, set off to record their 13th album in one last attempt to fulfill their boyhood dreams.
